As the result of previous discussion, it has been confirmed that some changes are made to OSRS birdhouse and bird nest for balancing. With the adjustment the scaling of OSRS bird nests being produced is fixed to be lower.
OSRS birdhouse adjustment based on Hunter level
Some changes are made to OSRS birdhouse to make it balanced and viable, fixing the scaling of bird nests being produced:
1. The overall number of nests received from bird house is lowered.
2. How many bird nests you can receive is influenced not only by the tier of OSRS bird house, but also by your Hunter level. If you are at 89 Hunter level, you may gain 9.8 nests on average per run with the using of Redwood bird houses, which is a little fewer than that at level 99. Two OSRS bird nests will be received per run on average if you are at level 5 and using the regular bird houses.
OSRS bird nest drops removed from several bosses
The bird nest drops have been removed from Vorkath, Zulrah and Callisto, and the nest drop from Callisto is replaced with 30 Dragon bones.
This adjustment is made to reduce the number of OSRS bird nest coming into game, and help stop skilling resources being gained via PvM. As the drop of bird nests have been removed, other drops from these bosses (expect unique) will become a little more common. The profits of farming these bosses will not be significantly affected by the change.
