Great changes for Deadman Winter Finals 2017
Firstly, the supply chests will appear every time the fog advances. And their locations will be announced in two different stages: the first notification vague while the second specific. In addition, the chests will provide very profitable rewards.
The Old School team also introduce a second final area. They will divide participants between two final areas (Barbarian Village and the Demonic Ruins in the Wilderness). When the Permadeath stage starts, the final remaining 128 survivors will be teleported to an area, comprising 64 individual arenas. Each player will be assigned a final area randomly for a set 7 brackets of 1v1 fights, regardless of level, location & gear etc.
Bracket 1: 128 survivors, 64 arenas
Bracket 2: 64 survivors, 32 arenas
Bracket 3: 32 survivors, 16 arenas
Bracket 4: 16 survivors, 8 arenas
Bracket 5: 8 survivors, Quarter final

Time for OSRS Deadman Winter Finals 2017
In order to make sure everything goes well, there will be a public beta of the Deadman Mode Permadeath on November 23. And then the Winter Finals will begin at around 12pm. GMT on 4th December, while it will culminate in the Permadeath Stage at 7pm. GMT on 9th December.
